Let’s start at the beginning.
My name is Jocelyn Stephany, and I am the owner of Young&Co. Beauty. However, I’m not the first in my family to use the name ‘Young&Co.” You would have to thank my great grandfather Myles for that. Great Grandpa Myles was a man that was often described as ornery, charismatic, and the most giving person you would ever meet. He was incredibly active in his community, and always used his business as a way to help anyone that he could. My Grandmother Meredith, his middle daughter, often gave me the most beautiful compliment; she thought I was his “twin in every way” and always wished we could’ve met and often said to me “who knows all the mischief, you pair, would have gotten up to together.” What I think she never realized was that when she described her father to me all I saw was her living by his example. She loved others so fiercely, her family, her faith, and her students. She was a pillar in her community and until she passed I never really understood the lengths her love reached. She passed down these morals and lessons to her children who, in turn, have then passed them on to us.
So, when I decided I was finally ready to open my own business, it just made sense to pay tribute to my whole family. I will always aspire to give, create, care for, and love on others like my family has taught me.
My salon was always a dream that I never thought I would achieve, and it has taken so much support and encouragement from my family, and my guests to get here.
I want to give everyone a space that is filled with laughter, and love, and yes even some relaxation.. When you walk in I hope you feel as if you are family and know that you are getting the greatest care, attention, and advanced educational services that our industry has to offer!
